Chasing an RSVP has always meant the same thing: mailing a card, building a website form, or just calling people and hoping they pick up. Today we're shipping the version that fits how people actually use their phones — guests RSVP by replying to a text, and their status updates on your guest list automatically.

When you schedule a message, flip the "Ask guests to RSVP by reply" toggle. Guestloop appends "Reply YES to confirm or NO to decline." to the end of the text, so guests know exactly what to do.

A guest who replies YES gets marked confirmed. A reply of NO marks them declined. Either way, they get an instant confirmation text back — free, and it never touches your prepaid balance.

Every other guest list message still gets its own footer — "Please do not reply to this message." — so there's no ambiguity about which texts expect a reply and which don't.

Not every RSVP arrives by text. If someone confirms at church, in the group chat, or in the parking lot, open their entry on the guest edit screen and set their status by hand — Invited, Confirmed, Declined, or No response. Manual overrides and text replies write to the same field, so your headcount is always one number, not two lists to reconcile.

Nothing extra. The outbound reminder that carries the RSVP prompt still costs the usual 5¢ from your prepaid balance ($10–$100 top-ups, no subscription). The guest's YES/NO reply and the confirmation text they get back are both free and don't debit your balance.
